To get highly skilled at pvping your class you must do a few things. The first thing is to master at your own class and there is only one way of doing that - play it like you mean it. Log several dungeons until you know every spell that your class can do.
When you feel comfortable with your own class it is time to study! Boring but oh so necessary. Knowing your enemies abilities better than they do is key to winning. When faced with a Shaman that is familiar with all of your abilities it gets down to whom can counter the other player best.
In raids you do well be very familiar with your class to the fullest but also what and why the other classes are doing what they are doing. Talking to your class leader and most of all asking your class leader questions is a quick method of getting to know your class to the fullest.
Most important in raiding is controlled temper and if you become good at that as a person you will rapidly advance in your guild ranks.
